The concept of 'Magic Stones' as unique ancient artifacts is not supported by The Legend of Heroes canon. While Ley Lines and ancient civilizations are part of the series' lore, they are not linked to any artifact called 'Magic Stones'. Canonical power sources for magic and technology are exclusively Quartz and Sepith, used within Orbments.

Magic Stones function as high-capacity mana batteries that can be integrated into magical circles or ancient machinery. Unlike Orbments which require Ragnite fuel for sustained operation, Magic Stones draw directly from their internal crystallized reserves. Wielders must exercise extreme caution, as the stones often react to the user's mental state. A calm mind stabilizes the flow, while strong emotions can cause volatile surges. They are typically used by high-tier mages or in stationary defense systems rather than personal equipment due to their weight and power density. Acquiring a functional Magic Stone is difficult; most found today are dormant or unstable. Proper activation usually requires specific incantations or alignment with local Ley Lines, making them rare tools for advanced research or emergency sealing rituals.
